@LearnSparc our product line on faculty development, nAble is designed for educators to understand the learners’ mind, to engage with their hearts and to enrich their portfolio by acquiring 21st century metacompetences. In the absence of a formalised teacher training process in the higher education space, it becomes more critical to prepare faculty members by making them aware of the theories of learning, establish understanding of the science of learning, develop adequate appreciation of the student cohort and become adept in applying different teaching methodologies as constructive collaborators of learning.

Extensive research on the model of communication coupled with enhanced understanding of cognitive sciences, has helped our team of academic experts to develop this module on the science of teaching-learning. Year1: Empowering Individual Development

The year 1 of membership will start with “Certificate of Attainment in Empowering Individual Development” for the college and Certificate of Progression for the Faculty members across five (5) key areas of education:

 

  1. Certificate of Progression in Research and Innovation
  2. Certificate of Progression in Teaching and Learning (Learning Portfolio)
  3. Certificate of Progression in Outcome Based Education (OBE)
  4. Certificate of Progression in Pedagogical Advancements
  5. Certificate of Progression in Classroom Management

Year2: Empowering Institutional Development

The year 2 of membership will start with “Certificate of Attainment in Empowering Institutional Development” for the college and Certificate of Excellence for the Faculty members across five (5) key areas of education:

Year 3: Enhancing Faculty Development

nAble continues with weekly learning for faculty of the enrolled institution, with workshops and masterclasses under topics of “The 8-way Learning Pathway for Educators”. A total of 12 sessions will be conducted through the year. Also, the following framework will be set up for the institution to continuously monitor, develop the educator competency.

 

Competency and Performance Management Framework for Educators

We have, over the years, painstakingly and scientifically designed the Educator Competency and Professional Development Framework (CPDF) and the Educator Performance Management Framework (PMF) that will help Educational Institutions to accentuate the most important part of Education – the Educator!
